Death means cessation of vibration,

And not any liberation of soul.

The body disintegrates to elements

By breaking down as food to other lives.

Post-death propitiatory rituals

Make no sense to the departed ones,

Like songs to the deaf and dance to the blind,

Save some solace to the performers.
